Yesterday, the Income Tax department ‘surveyed’ six premises linked to Sonu Sood. The motive behind the sudden raid is to determine if Sonu Sood committed any tax evasion crime.
Interestingly enough, the IT department ‘surveyed’ Sonu Sood’s house again today. The officials question Sonu Sood about the recent business deal between one of the companies he owns and a Lucknow-based real-estate firm.
An IT official pointed that they are suspecting tax evasion in this big-money deal.
These IT department ‘surveys’ come days after Sonu Sood’s meeting with Delhi chief minister and AAP chief, Aravind Kejriwal, which is turning many heads.
Meanwhile, the opposition parties in the country are criticizing the BJP government for intentionally irking Sonu Sood, who carried out several philanthropic works during the Covid related lockdown period.
Sonu Sood is yet to openly comment about this sudden interest from the IT department.
