The Israeli-Islamic Jihad conflict is intensifying. Israeli airstrikes on Gaza entered the third day on Sunday.
It is known that the attacks started on Friday. Khalid Mansoor, the senior leader of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group in northern Gaza, was recently killed by Israeli bombardment. As per reports, two more terrorists and five civilians also lost their lives. This brings the number of victims of Israel’s violence to 31 in the last three days.
Khalid Mansoor used to live in an apartment in the Rafa refugee camp in southern Gaza. Israel launched an airstrike on the same apartment. On the other hand, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, which has many Iranian allies, has also started retaliating. Hundreds of rockets were fired into Israeli territory. Meanwhile, the terrorist organization Hamas, which is in power in Gaza, has remained tight-lipped for now.
According to Israel’s military officials, Mansoor was responsible for several rocket attacks on Israel.
