Tough taskmaster SS Rajamouli has grown in leaps and bounds and has become one of the most sought after directors in Tollywood. His highly anticipated film RRR has been making headlines ever since it was announced. On top of it all, the film stars two star actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles for the first time.
In a recent interaction, when Rajamouli was asked about the RRR release date, he said, “Mathu Vadalara’s team itself took 1 year to complete their film. So please don’t ask me about RRR’s release date.” It looks like Rajamouli is under-estimating the small films.
And his answers clearly indicate that RRR may be postponed by a couple of months as it is a magnum-opus. Is he indicating that as RRR is a Pan-India film, it will definitely take time to release? Even there is no official confirmation or update when the makers are planning to release it. Probably, we hope the film could be released sometime in 2020 during Dasara festive season.
RRR’s storyline is set in the era of 1920s pre-independent India. The film is based on the life story of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju who were brave freedom fighters from the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. RRR will release in all the Indian languages. The film is being bankrolled by DVV Dannaya under DV Entertainments.
