Star hero Akkineni Nagarjuna’s last offering Manmadhudu 2 is a big debacle at the box office. The film, which was directed by Rahul Ravindran, failed to impress the audience and received negative word of mouth for the pale storyline.
However, now the latest we heard that Nagarjuna is all set to bounce back with his upcoming film. If the latest reports are to be believed, he recently heard a script, which was narrated by a debutante director Salman.
It is learnt that Nagarjuna liked the storyline very much and also decided to do a film with the debutant Salman, who worked as an associate to Koratala Siva and Vamshi Paidipally.
Previously, Nagarjuna worked with many new directors and scored hits (Shiva, Soggade Chinni Nayana) and also flops at the same time. However, now let us see whether Nag will win at the ticket window or he may end up with risk.
As of now, the script discussions are underway. A source close to the Akkineni compound revealed to us that Nagarjuna liked the storyline very much and is planning to bankroll the film. It is heard that the film will go on floors by the end of this year.
According to reports, the film will be a romantic family entertainer. The film will appeal to the audience universally as it deals about pure love, marriage and family relations. Nagarjuna will also be next seen in the sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, Malayalam film Marakkar, Hindi film Brahmastra and an untitled Dhanush directorial film.
