The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has been enjoying unparalleled and unrivaled success in the Telangana state ever since the formation of Telangana. The party even won with a staggering, never before seen majority in the state in the 2018 elections. However, in recent months, the kind of confidence that the members of the TRS previously possessed seems to be lacking.
KTR has repeatedly been speaking with the media for the past few days, talking about the various surveys being conducted in the state regarding the outcome of the 2023 elections. He said that in every survey conducted by the TRS and by the opposition parties as well, the TRS party is winning with a good majority. He expressed confidence over KCR becoming the Cheif Minister of the state for the third time, without any competition.
Despite his confidence, the kind of enthusiasm that he previously possessed about the party’s stance in the state is now missing. There’s some sort of dilemma that the TRS party member seems to be facing, which is represented very clearly in KTR’s face. It is now being wondered as a result whether this is reflective of KCR’s aspirations in national politics, due to which he is not concentrating on state politics, or if it is due to any other reason.
