Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hasn’t visited the Narasapur constituency since 2019. Prior to that, he was there during his election campaign. The constituency is currently represented by Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who won in the constituency with the YSRCP’s ticket. However, he soon earned the monicker of being a rebel MP, as he started to criticize his own party and his own party leader, Jagan.
While RRR has made several comments and criticisms against Jagan and his ways, the CM never retaliated directly even once, even though other members of the party, including Vijaya Sai Reddy, reacted to the comments. With Jagan now set to visit the Narasapur constituency in the West Godavari district, on November 18th, everyone is anticipating the kind of impact his visit could result in.
To start off, Jagan would lay the foundation stone for the Aqua University and a fishing harbor in the area, apart from inaugurating other projects. He would also inaugurate a sub-station of the AP Transco and the 100-bed hospital of the state government. After that, he is expected to address a public meeting here before leaving the town. It is being speculated that Jagan would utilize this opportunity to speak out about RRR, and everyone is waiting to see what the CM will have to say. While Jagan’s comments will surely be interesting, if he makes any, RRR’s counter-statements are going to be even more politically charged. Thus, it is to be seen whether Jagan’s visit to Narasapuram will make a huge impact as expected.
