In a major relief to the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, the Supreme Court has canceled the plea filed by the AP CID to cancel the anticipatory bail that was granted to Chandrababu in the Inner Ring Road scam case.
The Supreme Court commented that the anticipatory bail does not interfere with the investigation of the CID and hence there is no reason to cancel the same. The court refused to issue a stay on the anticipatory bail that was earlier issued by the AP high court.
Naidu will now be having the right to exercise early bail even if the AP CID decided to arrest him in the ring road scam.
It is known that the CID is alleging that Babu and Lokesh did quid pro quo through the ring road and has been calling them for investigation on the case.
