Cinema and Cricket are two things to which all of us are addicted. The IPL season has started and people are glued to their televisions.
The collections of movies generally will be good for the evening shows. With IPL matches happening on evenings, the occupancies dropped to low level. Also, the high chances for collections in the weekends were also affected due to the IPL matches being started in the afternoons.
This further affects the already bad movies. Movies like ‘Ravanasura’ and ‘Meter’ are already facing this problem whose initial days response being bad. Even ‘Dasara’ which got good response from audience is impacted by IPL.
This mostly affects the high budget movies and movies which are yet to be released like Samantha’s ‘Shankuntalam’ and Akhil’s’ Agent’ might also suffer from this.
