The much anticipated IPL 2022 schedule is here. The defending champions Chennai Super Kings will be taking on Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match of the tournament which will be taking place on the 26th of March.
The first match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium. The second match is between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.
The entire IPL 2022 tournament will be held in Mumbai and Pune and a total of 4 venues will be used for the same.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for #TATAIPL 2022 which will be held in Mumbai and Pune.
A total number of 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games will be played in the duration of 65 days.” IPL’s oficial Twitter handle tweeted a short while ago.
