Within four months of forming the government in the state, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has provided employment to 1,30,000 people.
YSRCP government has introduced the concept of Village Secretariat and thus made its ruling more accessible to the people. It released a job notification for 1,30,000 applications and also issued appointment letters to the Grama Volunteers, who will join the duties tomorrow, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.
One of the key reasons for Jagan’s victory in the elections, is due to his Navaratnaalu promise. Grama Volunteers are going to play the key role in letting the benefits of it, reach the right people.

20 lakh people applied for the posts, and the exams were conducted for 8 days. 1.3 lakh people were offered the permanent jobs. 10 to 12 people of every village got the jobs. It is the first of its kind for a government to provide employment to so many people in such a short time. So the internet is now in awe of the young CM and is praising him with numerous positive posts.
