The YSRCP has many groups among its own members, and many more sub-groups within these groups. There’s also a lot of rivalry between one person and another, and as a result, there’s always a lot of drama going on in the YSRCP.
Tadikonda YCP MLA Vundavalli Sridevi has registered a complaint with the Guntur police, saying that she has received a life threat from one S. Sandeep, who was until very recently a member of the YSRCP. She also said that she has been receiving these threats ever since the POlice raided and seized all the gambling dens in the constituency.
Interestingly, Sandeep was a very close associate of Sridevi’s, until she filed the complaint. Following the complaint, Sandeep has been missing from his native village, and is currently absconding, and the Police is currently on the hunt to find him. This entire incident has now become a major point of focus and talking point for members of the YSRCP.
In the meantime, Sandeep has released a video of himself, in which he can be seen saying that he received life threats from MLA Sridevi, because of which he had to flee his native village, because of which his fammily is suffering right now. In the video, Sandeep also said that MLA Sridevi got him implicated after he insisted that she pay back the debts she took at the time of elections. Furthermore, Sandeep urged the Chief Minister to get involved in the matter, and to save him, as the CM is the only person who could save him.
No matter what, the YSRCP members make it a point to stay in the news by some means. It is going to be interesting what sort of political developments this incident will lead to, in Andhra Pradesh.
