Akhil Akkineni, who made his debut with Akhil- The Power of Jua is still in search of a proper commerical blockbuster. He is pinning high hopes on ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and the film might be hitting the theaters next year.
If the latest updates are to be believed, Akhil Akkineni has a couple of highly intriguing projects in the pipeline for him. Apparently, Akhil will be working with commerical filmmakers Surender Reddy, and Veeru Potla for his succeeding projects.
Surender Reddy has reportedly penned a proper mass masala storyline for Akhil and the Akkineni hero is impressed with it. Akhil believes this film will bring him close to mass audience and gave his nod almost instantly. This will be Akhil’s immediate next project after ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’.
After Surender Reddy’s project, Akhil is likely to work with Veeru Potla, another commercial filmmaker, who is known for churning out comedy capers. This film will bank mainly on comedy and mass-centric elements.
Well, Akhil has lined up a couple of commerical films and it remains to be seen if he will taste some much-needed success with them.
