Megha Engineering Limited, the company that is associated with the construction of the Polavaram project is believed to be a close associate of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

However, with the YCP getting sent out of power, Megha’s stakes in the Polavaram project were in doubt. But cut to now, the main associated with the firm have met Chandrababu and donated Rs 5 crore towards flood relief.

On this matter, Babu tweeted “I would like to thank MD Krishna Reddy Garu and Director Subbaiah Garu of @MEIL_Group, as well as Karumanchi Prasad Garu and Karumanchi Hemanth Garu of Prasad Seeds, for their generous donations to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Their contributions will play a crucial role in rebuilding the lives of those affected by the devastating floods.”

It appears to be that Megha is looking to be in he good books of Chandrababu as well.
