If one remembers well enough, then they would know that former BJP AP president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana was all set to join the YSRCP three years ago, and seemed more than eager to do so as well. However, on the day of his joining, he skipped the ceremony altogether, citing health concerns, and a few days later, he shocked everyone by joining the BJP.
Things were looking up for him in the BJP initially, as he was made the president of AP BJP. However, no one has heard much from him after he was replaced by MLC Somu Veerraju as the president of AP BJP. Since then, Kanna is said to be highly apprehensive of his position in the party, and is said to be planning to quit the party soon. He is said to have contemplated joining the TDP, despite Chandrababu being his long-time rival, but that plan fell through.
Kanna is now said to be more interested in joining the Jana Sena, founded and lead by Pawan Kalyan. Given that he also enjoys a very close relationship with the Kapu community, Kanna is expected to be a good force for the Jana Sena. However, his loyalty remains a huge question mark.
