After taking a huge gap after the release of Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Stylish Star Allu Arjun started shooting for his next film Ala Vaikunthapuramulo. The film is being directed by Trivikram.
After completion of Ala Vaikunthapuramulo shoot, Allu Arjun will immediately move on to his next projects, which have been lined up to roll down.
However, Icon was one of the projects announced by Bunny on the eve of his birthday. The film will be directed by Sriram Venu and bankrolled by Dil Raju. And the other one was Sukumar’s film.

There were many reports that Icon will start ahead of Sukumar’s film as he is not able to lock the script for #AA20.
Now, a source close to Allu Arjun revealed to us that Sukumar is now ready with a script and approved by Allu Arjun. There were reports about Dil Raju getting the pre-production work on track.
The source also revealed to us Allu Arjun keeps Venu Sriram in waiting for some more time, as he said go ahead to Sukumar. Currently, the pre-production work of the film is going on and the movie will go on sets in December.
It is learnt that the film’s formal launch will happen on Dassera. So, it seems Icon has been put aside by Allu Arjun at the moment. But he promised to do it after completing his current commitments.
Well, let us wait and see whether Dil Raju will wait for Allu Arjun or he looks for other options?
