With utmost difficulty, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had received approvals from all for 3 Capitals creation in the State. But looks like his challenges on the way are not going to calm down any sooner. Latest is, the Navy is objecting the idea of Vizag becoming the Capital of the State.
Jagan was all set to start his administration from Vizag from the day of Ugadi 2020. At any moment Jagan is set to shift the Secretariat to the Millennium Towers in Vizag. Now at this point, when the Central Government also has no objection, what is the objection of Navy?
According to TDP leader Bonda Uma, the Navy had warned Jagan Mohan Reddy of the security threats that will arise by turning Visakhapatnam as the Capital City.
Indian Navy feels that when so many offices of R&D, manufacturing and administration of Defense runs in Visakhapatnam, it is a threat to a State’s Capital to be together with a Nation’s defense city. Of course, they also have a point.
