Indian Idol telecasted a special episode for Shravan Rathod on May 22nd. They had invited legendary stars close to him like Kumar Sanu, Anuradha Paudwal and Roopkumar Rathod on the sets.
The theme that singers had to perform was the romantic love songs of Nadeem-Shravan. Fans who knew about their sensational singing know they ruled the roost in the 90’s. In the recent episode, Shanmukhapriya and Ashish Kulkarni performed Humko Sirf Pyaar Hai in front of them.
Needless to say that last week fans were already disappointed with the Kishore Kumar tribute given last week. It stirred up a lot of controversy among music lovers. In the recent times, singer Shanmukhapriya rose to fame with her unusual style of using high pitched westernised, opera and yodelling techniques while singing. People are apparently unimpressed with Shanmukhapriya’s style of singing.
In yesterday’s episode while singing Humko sirf tume pyaar hai, many netizens lashed out at Indian idol 12 judges for accepting her singing without any issue. They fumed over her and demanded her elimination from the show.

Another fumed by hitting out at Indian idol by questioning how can they ever tweet her performance boldly. He said her(ShanmukhaPriya) talent is to spoil any song given to her and give weird expressions.
Many even slammed Aditya Narayan for taking a jibe at Ajith Kumar.
