The government of India has taken a big step in connection with the vaccination drive. This comes after the alarming spike in cases in China and Japan.
The government of India has permitted nasal vaccination for 18+ year-olds in the country. Related orders were passed a short while back.
This would mean that those aged 18+ years can get nasal vaccination. The nasal vaccination drive will start soon after the country gets enough stocks of the vaccine.
Nasal vaccines are theoretically the most effective vaccines and they are said to be much more effective than the intramuscular ones. So, this move by the Indian government could come a long way in India’s fight against Covid.
