The much-awaited clash in the ongoing T20 world cup, India vs Pakistan turned out to be a largely disappointing one for team India’s fans.
After posting 151 on the board after batting first, team India were pretty poor in the second innings. Indian bowlers couldn’t even pick a single wicket, nor did they look like picking one as Pakistani openers Babar Azam and Rizwan batted them out of the contest.
Pakistan registered a 10-wicket victory against India which is India’s worst ever defeat in T20Is. Also, this is the first time Pakistan won against India in a world cup match. The record is 1-12 in India’s favor.
Kohli and Rishabh Pant were relatively good with the bat but the remaining Indian batter failed to apply themselves and bowed down cheaply. On the other hand, Rizwan and Babar were remarkable with the bat.
Team India will next be facing New Zealand on the 31st of October.
