Indian Government started tracing and checking the attendees of Delhi Nizamuddin event for Covid-19 and the Government is suspecting 9000 cases directly or indirectly through this event. As of now, 1051 people from this event were quarantined and 21 positive cases were observed. Around 400 cases in India were directly or indirectly related to these 21 positive cases.
Government was not able to trace few people who attended the event and the Covid-19 team officials along with the event organizers gave a call to the people to self identify themselves and call the 104 to have a checkup.
Top Indian officials like Ajit Doval and CMs of various states were now involved in tracing candidates to stop the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, Indian Government is pleading people to stay at home and help the healthcare workers by co-operating with them as per the protocol. WHO praised Narendra Modi for taking care of the Indians by supplying ration, gas and money for the next 3 months period.
