If a particular party is in power, then it means that it has a lot of groups within it, one trying to dominate the other. This happened when TDP was in power, and this is happening even now, when YSRCP is in power.
When TDP was in power, a lot of YSRCP members showed great interest in joining the party, and some of them succeeded at it. This led to groupism within the party, leading to a lot of negativity among the people of the state. This is exactly the case with YSRCP now, and the negativity has only just begun.
After YSRCP came to power, a lot of TDP members joined the YSRCP, and this has been causing a lot of differences in various constituencies, where everyone is trying to use their power to their advantage. This was best exhibited during YSR Jayanthi, when everyone tried to outdo what another group was doing, with more grandeur or more pomp.
A lot of differences have crept up in between people who have been part of YSRCP for a long time, and those who have joined the party recently. Many are questioning the purpose of their loyalty to the party, when the ones who joined recently are benefitting more than them. A lot of chaos has ensued in almost every constituency, based on these issues. Cheerala ex-MLA, Aamanchi KrishnaMohan had recently met Prakasam District’s YSRCP incharge, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, to discuss about the same, and to also let him know that other leaders have been trash talking about Aamanchi at YSR Jayanthi events.
YSRCP’s biggest problem lies in the fact that they have forcibly made a few members join the party, by unruly means, where members belonging to other parties were threatened or warned by members of the YSRCP. As a result, these members who forcibly joined the YSRCP have been demanding for better positions and are dominating those who ruled a particular constituency until recently. With this not going down well with YSRCP loyalists, a lot of groups are being formed, leading to public embarrassments and several wars of words, so bad that they are being noticed by the High Command.
If these wars and differences continue to ensue within the party, then the YSRCP will go to greater depths of infamy within the people, something they may not be able to come out, if the situation is not properly handled well while it can still be handled.
