YSRC is launching several schemes in Andhra Pradesh and most of them are having YSR’s name in front on it. TDP and few people in Andhra Pradesh commented on the advertising of YSRC mentioning it to be little odd.
Looks like YSRC decided to make the talk completely positive, involve BJP into the schemes and give the credit to the central government as well. The new scheme for farmers “YSR Raithu Bharosa” is now termed as “YSR Raithu Bharosa – PM Kisan Samman”.
By including the “PM Kisan Samman” scheme, the state government raised the investment for farmers from Rs.12,500 to Rs.13,500 per year. Initially the scheme was designed to give Rs.50,000 in 4 years and now this was improved to Rs.67,500 for 5 years. As YSRC is combining the state scheme with the central scheme, the name was changed and the amounts were raised. As per the central government’s “PM Kisan Samman” scheme, farmers get Rs.6000 per year for 3 years which is now included in the “YSR Raithu Bharosa” scheme. Farmers will get more money which will benefit them.
