YSRC government is trying to make a change in the state of Andhra Pradesh in all directions. Recently, YS Jagan met with the Forest and Environment Department officials and understood the complications involved in usage of single-use plastic and the waste exposed by the Pharma companies.
It seems that only 30% of the Pharma waste is being recycled by the companies and the remaining is causing environmental pollution. Vizag area which has several Pharma companies were contributing to the environmental pollution which is destroying the city of Vizag.
Responding to this, YS Jagan’s government decided to impose green tax. This will impact companies producing environmental wastes. On the other hand, YSRC government banned usage of single-use plastic. These actions may reduce the environmental pollution caused by the industries in Andhra Pradesh, which will further make the state a clean one for people to live in. YS Jagan questioned the companies producing environmental waste saying, “How can the future generations survive if we don’t protect our environment?”
We have to wait for some more time to see if the actions of the government on the environment will give fruitful results.
