2019 has been a tough year for Telangana with TSRTC strike and an unfortunate incident of Disha’s murder case. KCR framed his New Year resolution for Telangana considering the Disha’s case.
Speaking on the ways to avoid this sort of unfortunate incidents, KCR stated that moral education will be made mandatory for the students. The way to behave and be a good citizen will be taught as a part of their course curriculum.
The moral content that will be taught will be designed with the help of spiritual leaders and senior security officials. KCR further requested the Police force to support the government in making Telangana a better and safe place to live in.
It should be noted that the ancient Indian schools used to have moral education as the main subject and the stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata were taught to the students to help them in leading a happy and responsible lifestyle. Even the bedtime stories like the Panchatantra revolve round the moral values. Lets hope that the moral values education will make India a better place to live in.
