To spread an awareness on the plastic usage, Daku, an Indian street artist, has collected numerous empty plastic bottles and placed it in the shape of a question mark on Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad.
With over 3,00,000 recycled plastic bottles, Daku made the design, to make the people aware of the situation of the planet. The question mark, representing “Why” is powered by solar panels, so that it will be visible even at nights.
He is of the hope that the people start questioning themselves about the plastic and thus reduce the usage of it. Adding to it, he is also reminding the government and corporations about their share of responsibility in reducing it. He says that a collective pledge towards the issue, would find a solution.
