A news has been proliferating about young hero Vijay Devarakonda and RSS 100 film director Ajay Bhupathi on social media and networking apps.
The ad claims that Interested people who want to star in films ought to send their portfolio along with photos and videos. If selected, they assured a chance in movies and TV serials. However, the condition to rope them is at a cost of Rs. 25000.
The fake ad is being promoted with director Ajay Bhupathi’s name and his WhatsApp number. This scam was soon busted when three young men approached Ajay Bhupathi directly to enquire about the truth. Ajay Bhupathi has lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police and they are currently in search of these impostors.
In a similar incident, earlier a man called Sai Kumar based out from Nizamabad, impersonated in the name of Vijay Deverakonda and created a fake profile on Facebook. He trapped young girls claiming to be a dubbing artist for the actor. He was soon nabbed by the police. Now Fraudsters began impersonating Ajay Bhupathi and Vijay Devarakonda.
