Reports suggest it has nearly 65 mirror sites connected to it. Even if the main website is shut down, these backup sites can continue piracy operations. Though operator Ravi is in jail, the activity of the network clearly shows that his team outside is still active.
Because of this, film industry leaders say attacking only iBOMMA is not enough. They are demanding a permanent ban on big piracy websites like MovieRulz, Tamil Rockers, and Tamil One. Producers argue that arresting one person will not stop the problem, and only blocking all active piracy domains can protect filmmakers from heavy losses.
Cyber police are also warning the public about serious risks. Clicking on such new links for free movies can expose personal data to hackers. They remind people that “nothing is truly free,” and using piracy sites means risking your own privacy and security.
