Telugu states governor Narasimhan has reportedly promised the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring the support for BJP from Janasena, TRS and YSRCP.
Narasimhan has been serving as the governor of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana since 2009 December and thus achieved the record of serving more years than any other governor. While his tenure is set to complete this May, he is now trying for the extension of it.
In this regard, the reports are rife that, Narasimhan recently met Modi and Amit Shah in Delhi and assured them that he will convince YSRCP, Janasena and TRS to support BJP, in case the party falls short of few seats to form the government, after Lok Sabha results. The assurance from Narasimhan could be the reason for Modi to severely go against Naidu in the recent times, the analysts opine.
Opining that Janasena, TRS and YSRCP together would bang 35 Lok Sabha seats, Narasimhan is expecting to convince the trio, if at all there’s a hung Lok Sabha.
Pawan Kalyan came in support of BJP in 2014 elections and was one of the main reasons for the party’s victory then. But the things took an ugly turn later, with Pawan distancing himself from Modi and Chandrababu Naidu. Adding to it, the actor turned politician several times criticized the Central government regarding the special status and also other issues. At this point of time, convincing Pawan to support BJP would be a tough job, as the Janasena Chief may not be willing to move towards Modi, at least for the fear of getting trolled for his comments against Modi earlier.
On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is very seriously trying for the federal front, after expressing his dissatisfaction with BJP at the Centre. While he himself is aiming to be the Prime Minister, why will the dynamic CM would allow Modi to retain the power is a huge question. It should be seen, what kind of strategy Narasimhan comes up with, to convince Janasena, TRS and YSRCP for their support to BJP.
