Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he is ready to join hands with TRS too, if it works against BJP. Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to bring together political parties which are against the Saffron party, for the grand alliance.
In this regard, Naidu met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and also CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Friday and discussed about the tie-up in the post-election scenario. Reportedly, Naidu is likely to meet Congress President Rahul Gandhi and also BSP Chief Mayawati on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, after meeting the Election Commission in Delhi, Naidu said, “We welcome not only the TRS but any party which is against the BJP. We are welcoming all such parties to be a part of our grand alliance.”
Naidu further added that he would soon come up with a proper plan after discussing with all the leaders.
On the other side, Naidu met ECI, and went against it for accepting YSRCP’s request of conducing the re-poll in Chandragiri Assembly segment in Andhra Pradesh, and also five other polling booths on this Sunday.
“As on today, the ECI’s decisions are very controversial, one-sided, pro-establishment and pro-government. During the entire election, they were supporting the government. It is unfortunate,” he told reporters after the meeting.
