The Hyderabadis enjoyed the rain on the first day and after two or three days the rain did not leave in a boring manner. The city has been battered by the recent rains for the last six days. Given a slight gap in the middle, the clouds are showing their mettle without stopping starting Monday evening. It rained non-stop for more than 24 hours.
Now, the highest rainfall that was recorded in the Hyderabad city is 32 centimeters which is far above the average rainfall in the Telangana state over the years. Now the weather control department said that this year may break the 150-year old record. If it continues to rain with the same intensity in the Hyderabad, 2020 will become the most rained year in the history of Hyderabad for the past 150 years.
The situation in the city of Hyderabad was made worse by this blow. Most areas of the city are lined with rivers and ponds. Large centers were completely submerged. The houses sank. Vehicles are washed away in the water. Photos and videos of rain terror in various parts of the country are alarming. Meteorologists warn that roaming outside in these conditions is extremely risky.
Hyderabad is on the verge of setting a record for 2020 as the year with the highest rainfall in 150 years, a meteorologist posted on Twitter.
