The husband of the Telugu Desam Party Sarpanch candidate of Gollakunta village in Jaggampeta Mandal of East Godavari district has died under suspicious circumstances.
Recently, Sabbella Srinivasa Reddy’s wife Pushpavati of Gollakunta village filed nomination. He went along with his wife at the time of nomination.
After the nomination, Srinivas Reddy was abducted by unidentified assailants. Shortly after the abduction, he was found in the nearby forest with his legs and hands being tied.
Police, who questioned Srinivas Reddy about the abduction on the same day, questioned him again the next day.
Unexpectedly, Srinivas Reddy died under suspicious circumstances on a farm in the village. Within hours of the police investigation, Srinivas Reddy was dead.
