There is a certain protocol to follow any rule as prescribed by the books or the higher authority but in Andhra Pradesh, the lockdown is being implemented without any order. The center says one and the other is happening in this Telugu state. This ground-level reality is being criticized by the public.
There are many Green and Orange Zones in the state and the same rule is not being applied in every area. Some Orange Zones are being treated like Green Zones and some are very strictly maintained as if they are in Red Zone. In some areas, it seems like the local police and revenue are working on the rules stated by the public.
It was said that the four-wheelers and private cabs are allowed on the highway with a proper reason but in many areas, they are not being permitted without an approval letter or vehicle pass. Many vehicles are not being allowed even though the only person is in the car is the driver that made the public think that two-wheeler is a better option two travel through the highway.
Most surprisingly, the two wheelers can be moved all over the state, but in four-wheelers, you can’t cross your district. In many areas, no shop has been opened even though the centre gave permission to open them with certain restrictions. But in some areas, there have been no restrictions to several non-essential shops.
The situation in Andhra Pradesh is in complete disorder and the government needs to clarify the norms, rules, and Terms and Conditions to the public to avoid any possible uproar.
