Ace director Gunasekhar is well-known for erecting lavish, huge budget sets to reflect the theme of mythological movies. Now, he is getting back to his mode by erecting a lavish set worth Rs 40 Crore for his upcoming film ‘Hiranyakashyapa’.
The latest news is that Gunasekhar is currently working on creating a lavish set in Ramanaidu cine village and is planning to make it a visual spectacle.
There was also a buzz that the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore. According to Hindu Puranas, Hiranyakashipu is the most notorious and deadly asura king. He will reportedly be seen playing the titular role in the film.
Sources close to the team say that the pre-production work has ended and nearly 17 VFX studios will be working for the graphical content in the film.
It is heard that one of the top artistes in India, Mukesh Singh, is drawing mythological places like Vaikuntam and Indra Lokam as well as Narasimha avatar.
Suresh Babu is producing this movie and is planning to release the film in multiple languages.
