The team of Liger has been busy promoting the film, which is all set to be released on August 25th. The film is directed by Puri Jagannath and features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the leading roles, marking Vijay’s first pan-Indian release. The film is carrying a huge buzz around it, which was only increased after the release of the trailer. The team of Liger is conducting a fandom tour, as part of which the film is being promoted in various parts of the country.
As part of that Fandom tour, the team of Liger was present at Warangal today, where the entire team entertained Warangal audiences. The whole crew was present at the event, with several Warangal ministers and Mayor gracing the event. Talking at the event, producer Charmmee Kaur said that the film is going to be huge and that she is very much looking forward to talking after the release of the film.
Director Puri Jagannath expressed huge confidence in the film doing very well at the box office and said that it was almost like a dream to have worked with Mike Tyson on the film and that he and Vijay used to very regularly even question themselves and marvel at the fact that they’re working with Mike Tyson, a world-renowned boxer. Puri explained how grueling it was getting Tyson on board but that it paid off in the end.
Ananya Panday took everyone by surprise by talking in Telugu and said that she was immensely happy to be a part of Liger and to be making her Telugu debut with the film. She said that it was a huge pleasure to have worked with Vijay on the film and said that the audience is going to love the film to the core. Vijay said that it’s surreal, the kind of love that he’s been receiving across the country, and said that it all started with the Telugu audience, for which he feels very blessed. He also said that the film is going to change Indian cinema, and said that the film is going to ‘Waat Lagaa Denge’. The euphoria when the actor spoke was too high, and he said that he would be speaking more soon.
The team of Liger will be present in Hyderabad tomorrow, for the next part of the promotions of the film.
