The pre-release event of Nikhil’s upcoming film Karthikeya 2 took place today, for which a number of dignitaries were invited as chief guests. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and is all set to be released on August 13th. The trailer of Karthikeya 2 was released a few days ago and managed to create a very good buzz surrounding the film. Anupama Parameswaran is the leading lady of the film, of which Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is an important part.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, writer Vijayendra Prasad, and actors Adivi Sesh and Siddhu Jonnalagadda were some of the dignitaries that graced the event. They all wished the entire team of Karthikeya 2 all the very best and hoped that the film would do well at the box office.
Talking about the film, director Chandoo Mondeti and hero Nikhil said that this project is very special to them, as they have been working on it for the past two to three years and have been through three waves of the pandemic to be where they are now. They thanked everyone who’s a part of the film, for giving their very best for the film, and expressed confidence in the film doing well at the box office. Nikhil and Chandoo stressed on the film trying to tap into the roots of Hindu culture and tradition, something that is being lost with the passing days. They said that this has been showcased in a very entertaining and fun manner in the film and that the message being given about God in the film is also going to be very important. Both of them hoped that the film would turn out to be a good hit and said that the film would be one where everyone would want to go to the theatre and watch it.
