Municipal polls in Andhra Pradesh ended peacefully. The polling process went smoothly except in some parts of the state. Polling started at 7 am.
A large number of voters went to the polling stations and exercised their right to vote. “53.57 percent polling was recorded across the state till 3 pm,” officials said.
On seeing the higher percentage of polling in the Municipal elections, YCP seems worried. Generally, it is believed that a higher percentage of polling will be registered only when the people are against the ruling party.
This was proved many times in the past for Assembly and Loksabha polls. If this belief works, then the ruling party YCP should prepare to face the worst result in the Municipal elections.
