Mega Prince Varun Tej’s next film Valmiki has been making headlines ever since it was announced. Valmiki is a remake of Tamil dark comedy Jigarthanda and the film’s director Harish Shankar has changed the script of the film to suit the nativity of the Telugu land and he has also changed the period setting of the story. The majority of the movie takes place in the 80s and 90s.
Meanwhile, Harish Shankar is roping in several stars to appear in guest roles. We have already reported that the star director Sukumar has already completed playing the role of a movie director in the movie.
However, now, Nithin is filming a sequence. It is heard that as the movie is set in the backdrop of the film industry and rowdy gangs, Harish Shankar is roping in several celebrities to make a cameo appearance.

Well, now why did Nithiin agreed to do a cameo role in Valmiki when he is already shooting for two of his movies? This question becomes the talk of the town.
Well, the reason behind Nithiin’s cameo is as he is a big fan of Pawan Kalyan and Nithiin likes Harish Shankar for being given such big blockbuster like Gabbar Singh to his favorite star. So, Nithin immediately has agreed to this film.
Valmiki stars Pooja Hegde and Tamil star Athavara in lead roles. The film is slated for grand release on September 20th.
