It’s not even been a month since YS Sharmila launched her YSRTP in the Telangana State, and tensions have already risen in the party. A major leader from the party. Narsimha Reddy of Devarakadra in Mahabubnagar district, made sensational statements in the media, saying that he joined the party out of his fondness for YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and had been looking forward to doing a great deal of services to the party.
He said that he was, however, disappointed after the names of the leaders were announced today, for the respective constituencies, as his name was not be found for any constituency. He said that this was because the seats in the party were sold out to anybody who bought it. He said that seats have been sold for Rs. 5 Lakhs and that he can even provide evidence and names for this. With these statements, tensions in the party are rising even before the party has managed to make any real impact in the state.
On the other hand, Sharmila has once again criticised Telangana Cheif Minister KCR, by saying that KCR will not get commissions if farmers are given crop compensations, if he gives corporation loans to youth, if he pays for discs and if he pays bills to employees. She said that he would get a commission only if he gave contracts to companies.
