The pre-release event of the upcoming film Hanuman, directed by Prashanth Varma and featuring Teja Sajja in the titular role, took place in Hyderabad tonight, for which Megastar Chiranjeevi was invited as the chief guest. The whole cast and crew were present for the event, all expressing confidence in the film’s performance at the box office.
Talking about the film, Teja Sajja said that he is glad to be a part of this film, which has been in the making for a long time now, in the director, Prashant Varma’s head. He said that he blindly stuck to the director’s vision for this film, which has enabled him to give the best for this film. He expressed confidence in the film doing well at the box office, and entertaining the audiences, with its content. He went on to thank Megastar Chiranjeevi for gracing the event with his presence and said that without Chiranjeevi, he probably wouldn’t have been where he is today, because it is due to Chiru’s encouragement, and his example, that Teja Sajja worked his way up. He even compared himself to Ekalavya, in terms of being Chiranjeevi’s disciple.
Director Prashanth Varma said that he is lucky to have finally been able to fulfill his dream of making this film, which he was inspired to make after Chiranjeevi’s Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. He said that the film has a lot of entertaining factors along with universally appealing content, which he is sure will cater to all audiences.
Megastar Chiranjeevi wished the entire team all the best and said that he was thrilled to know that the film was named after his comment in Sam’s Jam on Aha. He said that it is purely God’s will that this film was named after what he had said when he said Hanuman is his favorite superhero. Chiranjeevi went on to share a childhood story of his, and his association and devotion with Lord Hanuman, which he said changed his life forever.
