The pre-release event of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie, Godfather, took place in Ananthpur on Wednesday night. The turnout of audience and fans at the event was massive, with the huge crowd staying till the end of the event even though it was pouring down heavily.
The event was a huge hit, with music director SS Thaman giving a big performance with his entire band, and he and drummer Shivamani rocking the stage with their music. The two songs from the movie were played live for the audience, who absolutely loved it. Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry spoke a few words regarding his association with the film and said that he is proud to be a part of the film.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, Satyadev, and director Mohan Raja were present at the event, along with fight masters Ram Laxman. Godfather is an official remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer and is all set to be released on October 5th, for Dasara. The film boasts of a huge cast that includes the likes of Nayantara, Satya Dev, Salman Khan, Sunil, Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma, and even director Puri Jagannath, among many others. The trailer of the film was also released today and has already gotten a great response on social media.
