Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working on Godfather, a remake of the Malayalam biggie Lucifer. The political thriller drama is being directed by Mohan Raja and is produced by RB Choudary in association with NV Prasad with Mega Power Star Ram Charan.
The latest buzz is that veteran actress Kushboo has been roped into the film to play a key role in it. As per reports, Kushboo will be seen in an emotional role that has a wide scope of emotions and drama, according to the original.
Chiranjeevi and Kushboo played brother and sister in the 2006 drama ‘Stalin’. If the buzz is true, the combo is going to repeat in the Telugu remake of Lucifer. Going by reports, the shooting of Godfather has begun in Ooty recently.
SS Thaman is on the board to render the tune, and Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is also working for Acharya under the direction of Koratala Siva. The film has Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady.
