The folk song “Godarike Soggadne”, starring real-life couple Siva Balaji and Madhumitha, was released today. Produced by Manchu Productions under Ava Music and directed by Nani Babu, the song narrates a charming rustic love story. It begins with playful quarrels over cockfights, where Madhumitha’s character is upset with her husband’s obsession. Siva Balaji then wins her over, showcasing sweet arguments and tender romance. At the launch, Siva Balaji shared that the 8-minute song tells a complete story through “musical narration.” He revealed it was shot in one take with improvisations and features two climaxes. Madhumitha said she loved the concept and noted how the Godari dialect adds a captivating touch. She expressed excitement about reuniting as a couple on screen after years.
