Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who is identified as one of the close associates of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly planning to leave the party and also planning a recoup to take a few other MLAs along with him into BJP.
A few of the BJP sources reveal that, Ganta is in touch with the key leaders of the national party for quite some time and hinted that anything can happen any time.

Along with Ganta, Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar (Vizag South), Annangi Satya Prasad (Repalle), Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy (Kondepi) and Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan (Gannavaram) are planning to leave TDP and join BJP any time soon.
Not stopping there, Ganta is also planning to convince few more TDP MLAs to leave the party, so that it forms two-thirds of the party’s strength of 23 MLAs and thus makes them escape disqualification.

While the TDP is already facing a miserable situation with the recent defection of 4 Rajya Sabha MPs of the party, if Ganta succeeds in convincing the MLAs to quit TDP, then the position of the party would turn even worse.
Meanwhile, a few on the social media are comparing the situation with Nadendla Bhaskar episode, when he backstabbed NTR while he is not in India and managed to convince all the MLAs to act in support of him.
