Galla Jayadev is one among the three TDP MPs who got elected in the recent Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.
The Guntur MP has earlier raised his voice in Delhi, against the Centre, demanding the special status. Recognizing his efforts, he is now elected as the TDP Parliamentary Party leader. With the new designation, Galla Jayadev will be now responsible to voice the problems of Andhra Pradesh in the national politics.
On the other side, Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is opted as the TDP leader in the Lok Sabha and Y Sujana Chowdary is picked for the Rajya Sabha.
The TDP leaders are of the opinion that though their party won only three MP seats, they still have an edge over YSRCP, in addressing the problems of the state. As YSRCP was rarely heard about fighting in Delhi, and occasionally a few TDP leaders were seen going against the Centre in the past, the TDP leaders are expecting that the same situation is going to be continued in the future too, which will thus help for TDP to gain the lost political mileage.
