Gajraj Rao has been prominent in the B town for quite a while with two consecutive hits along side Ayushman Khurrana. The actor opened up with insightful feelings about his roles. He played the on-screen character as a dad of Ayushmann Khurrana’s in Badhaai Ho. They both shared the screen space once again as the dad and son duo in Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan. With that he managed to bask in the glory and remain ingrained in the minds of the people. Gajraj rao often portrayed typically as a father or an elderly character along side lead actors who are only 15-20 years younger than him.
The actor revealed “Acting is a very amazing profession. I am not a politician but I play a corrupt politician in Lootcase. I am not a police inspector but I played Inspector Dhaniram in Talvar. I am not a detective but played one in Black Friday. I played a CBI inspector in Dil Se. Age of a character is not important for me”. He further gave a heart winning response that he has no qualms in playing an older role.
He also played father once again in two of the most acclaimed web shows: TVF’s F.A.T.H.E.R.S. and Tech Conversations With Dad. Gajraj Rao is not ambivalent in any case and is joyful about the fame he has been getting. Nevertheless, he said the current film, loot case has helped him from getting pigeon holed with father image as he dons the role of a sly politician.
