Just like all other IT companies, BCCI shuts its office doors giving freedom to its employees to work from home. Considering the Corona Virus outbreak and rapid spreading in India, BCCI decided to do its part by keeping its employees safe. It is a fact that Sourav Ganguly, initially didn’t take the Covid-19 seriously and mentioned that IPL will happen as per the schedule.
But seeing no crowd in the last one day matches and governments imposing restrictions, BCCI and Sourav Ganguly stepped back postponing the IPL matches. As the situation is turning more serious and India is expecting the outbreak peak in next few days, BCCI decided to co-operate with the central government, following the orders.
Meanwhile, few people, in spite of the symptoms were not approaching the doctors or hospitals for help, fearing of bad name in the society and the relatives. Government is requesting each and everyone to set that mindset aside and co-operate in controlling the outbreak, to be safe and to help others to be safe.
