Varun Tej, who is identified for his class image due to the series of class films like Mukunda, Kanche, Fida, Tholiprema etc. is all set to enter the mass arena with Valmiki. Harish Shankar is identified for his fun and action packed entertainers like Gabbar Singh, DJ etc, has directed Valmiki too, which is what made the project acquire a good craze among the audiences.

1. Varun Tej
Though Varun Tej earlier tried a mass film like Loafer, the film could not reach the expectations and remained as a dud at the box office. But, Valmiki teaser and trailer has raised the expectations and everyone is confident that the mega hero is going to set a mark among the masses too.
2. Gaddalakonda Ganesh- Sri Devi combination
Valmiki is set in 1980-90 backdrop. The love story between Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Varun Tej) and innocent Sridevi (Pooja Hegde) is going to be one of the major highlights of the film. The remake of the yesteryear classical song “Velluvochhi Godaramma” has become an added attraction.
3. Two young actors
Atharva Murali, who is already star hero in Kollywood, is making his Telugu debut with Valmiki. Mrinalini Ravi also has a decent craze in Tamil films. The combination of the duo made the Harish Shankar’s directorial interesting.
Adding to it, Dimple Hayathi will be seen in a special song in the film, which is expected to be on par with “Kevvu Keka” in Gabbar Singh.
4. Brahmaji comedy
Brahmaji always had a special role in the films of Harish Shankar. Even in Valmiki, his came up with a brilliant and hilarious performance throughout. He was offered his career best full length comedy role in the film.
5. Cameos
The reports are rife that Nithiin, Sai Pallavi, director Sukumar and many more celebrities made special appearances in Valmiki.
Considering the above points, it seems, a blockbuster is inevitable to Valmiki. However, the actual result of the film will be out in a few more hours.
