Coronavirus is not just effecting the common people. It has began to transmit in the government officials too these days. Recently one of the officials from Telangana’s CMO office and a representative from AP secretariat also have been succumbed to the infecton.
Now in an ugly turn of incidents, DMK MLA Jay Anbalagan (61) has passed away due to coronavirus in Tamil Nadu. Few days ago he was infected with the covid-19 virus and was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday as the disease aggravated.
He passed away while receiving treatment there. Government figures show that he was the first public representative to die of coronavirus in India.
Covid-19 positive cases have increased in Tamil Nadu recently. The central government is also concerned about the corona’s rise in spite of strict regulations. Heated discussions are happening in the high court to reconsider the lockdown rules. The virus also infected public representatives, government employees and doctors in the recent past.
On Tuesday, the party’s district secretaries and a senior leader of the party, rushed the minister to the hospital. But the situation worsened, causing him a great difficulty in breathing owing to the high severity of the infection and finally he died in the hospital.
