After unveiling Kajal Agarwal’s poster as Parvathi Devi from Vishnu Manchu’s film Kannappa, the makers of the upcoming mythological film have now released the first look of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva.
In the poster, Akshay is seen holding a trident and a damru, confidently standing on one leg atop a peak. The tagline reads, “The Supreme Leader Who Rules Over the Three Worlds Surrenders Himself to Pure Devotion.”
Sharing the poster on his social media handles, the acclaimed actor wrote, “Stepping into the sacred aura of Mahadev for #Kannappa. Honored to bring this epic tale to life. May Lord Shiva guide us on this divine journey. Om Namah Shivaya!”
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa also stars Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Madhoo, and Mohanlal, among others. The film is set to hit theaters on April 25, 2025.
