Andhra Pradesh’s speaker of the legislative assembly Tammineni Sitaram has been the mouthpiece of the YSR Congress Party. There are so many allegations on Sitaram for exhibiting partiality in all the assembly meetings and also for not following the guidelines promptly and giving undue favors to the ruling party.
Now, the AP High Court strictly advised the Speaker to complain to the Supreme Court if he has any issues with the High Court. They said that the person of his stature making objectionable comments out in public is not at all mean. The High Court commented that people occupying high-level responsible positions shouldn’t make such defamatory comments against the courts.
The AP High Court commented that a very unwanted situation is prevailing in Andhra Pradesh which isn’t present in any other state in the country where they considered the comments of the MPs, Ministers, and MLAs as an attack on democracy and clarified that they strictly come under the assault of on the courts and their integrity.
This is the first time a serious tone was raised on Tammineni Sitaram after his derogatory comments on the AP High Court. So, it seems Tammineni was under the radar for now along with other YSRCP leaders who have been desperately trying to hit the morale of the judicial system in the state.
